Hello, hello it’s the most capitalist day of the year! And I have outfit links for you. I realize this will leave some of you disgruntled, so let me say very clearly that you do not have to buy things just because your email is full of sales!

But as it happens, I’ve been wearing a lot of workhorse pieces this month—things I truly wear all the time, and have had last through multiple seasons. And these kinds of basics can be the hardest to find in plus sizes. So I’m doing an outfit report in case you too have been on the lookout for black pants, very good leggings, the jeans I hate least right now, an excellent sweater, and more. If so, they are surely all on hyper sale this second.

And if not, I wish you a blissful long weekend with your people! I’m going to a craft fair with my mom this afternoon, followed by book club and brunch tomorrow with friends—plus a lot of cozy doing nothing by the fire.

Am thankful for all of you, Burnt Toast!

What I Wore in November

Rock a crop top but make it fall? Kind of proud of this one because the open sweater over jeans feels classic Millennial Mom, but in the past, I would have stressed so hard about the underneath layer and how visible my midsection is allowed to be. Guess what my jeans have a waistband! I have a belly! It is fine to be aware of these things!

Also, these boots are usually super pricey so this weekend WILL be the best time to grab them. They are buttery soft, not toe-pinching (size up slightly), also cute with dresses and dress up jeans ever so slightly. I never don’t get compliments.
