I am extremely grumpy about writing this essay. It is July! The season of wildflowers and beach days and ice cream! And, in my case, two kids at two different camps so most of what I do is drive somebody somewhere and then turn around and go pick somebody up and bring them home again, rinse, repeat. Also we all have far bigger things to worry about, like democracy hanging by a literal thread thanks to two old men and their absolutely unhinged egos (remember, the answer is save the state governments while we still can!).

But I must interrupt my busy schedule of camp driving, democracy saving, and even ice cream eating, to write this rant. Because the Internet has decided to resurface one of the dumbest concepts ever to enter the body discourse: The mixed weight relationship.
