Jasmine Guillory’s books were a bright spot of 2020 for me- I read her first 5 books from April to November of 2020. While You Were Dating that she wrote during the pandemic is still my favorite for its exploration of mental health. Flirting Lessons is delightful!

Her books are so wonderful! I have devoured every one since they came out. I figured she had to be on some kind of break, because I kept looking for her latest one, and never saw anything until a few months back. Now I understand -- she produced a lot of really good books in a short period of time. Her characters are so relatable and her plots are realistic: even when they fit a trope, they don't feel contrived, but just how real people would behave in the situation. That's what I relate to, not whether the character looks just like me.
