I LOVE Burnt Toast so, so much, and can't wait to open the emails from you--and I can't say that about very many things, let me tell ya! Because I'm on a fixed, limited income I have to watch closely what I spend my money on, and I consider Burnt Toast (and Sara Petersen's In Pursuit of Clean Countertops) self-care I can't do without. I deserve it, right?! :D

This is the only kind of burnt toast I like (I'm a barely-toasted kind of person), but I love the name and I love butter, and I'm so excited that there are so many of us! It's always like taking a deep breath of fresh air when this newsletter lands in my inbox, and one of the few I sub to and actually read, even though I am not a parent.
On the subject of actual toast, I am turning 40 in a few weeks, and since I'm Jewish and therefore don't celebrate Christmas, I'm using the Bonne Maman advent calendar to count down to my birthday with toast and jam every day, and it is DELIGHTFUL. I felt like this readership would appreciate this. :) More toast for all!
Congrats on the milestone! And thanks for the transparency; it's cool to see your trajectory.
And boooo to diet ads next to anti-diet content. The same thing happens in financial content 😩 Except they'll straight up edit the article that has my byline to add an affiliate.
Fabulous new About Page!. And I’m sitting in my car belly laughing out loud at your parting shot to medical care providers who prescribe food restriction 👌🙌💪🎖
Hey there, I could use help trying to find a primary care physician who's not bugging me constantly about my weight (my cholesterol is a little high but not at a level anyone wants to start talking about statins). Is there any pages you can point to specifically?
But Why Is The Toast Burnt
Allllll the heart emojis!
