Pre-ordered the book and cannot wait to share it with other parents. And I couldn't agree more with Signe's take on the serious health risks of so-called "healthy eating."

Yay! I knew this one would be right up your alley, your work and Signe's has so many important overlaps!

I’m listening right now and I love how you both emphasize that the skills around intuitive eating and understanding the needs of one’s body are transferable skills. Signe talked about modeling consent with the implication of relevance to future sexual activity. That is vital but it’s so much more than that! I see how it can help kids and teen who participate in sports if they’re pushed by coaches, and how these skills will help them in conversations with health care providers, and so much more. Great interview!

Oh yes, such an important connection to sports and healthcare advocacy! Yes, starting from a place of body trust and respect is crucial for so many things.

Is there another indie place you'd recommend to buy her book? The bookshop link has it on backorder. Thanks!

(The first book is on backorder, to clarify.)

It looks like it is backordered with indies, but not with Amazon (annoyingly!) or Barnes & Noble (marginally less evil). https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/no-weigh-shelley-aggarwal/1127923007?ean=9781785928253
