Can I plug my favorite soup bowl here? It’s really a massive soup cup with a handle - like, it holds a LOT of soup or stew or pasta. The handle makes it perfect for alternating between spooning and sipping. They can go in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. I have four in my house - they are easily our most frequently used dishes and always dirty, I may get two more - and one stashed at my office. I love them so much. https://makeminepottery-buymyprettymud.square.site/product/moen093-soup-cup/72?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false
I am having a moment of a little retail bringing me joy: spent about 30 minutes walking through Cost Plus World Market this morning, in a rare recreational shopping mood. Picked up and put back multiple items, but couldn't resist a throw pillow (on 50% off clearance) for the one chair in my new living room that doesn't have a pillow. It's a cute pattern and picks up the colors of the room perfectly. Also (other than the cushions for the dining chairs) it is the only item we've bought new - super proud of the FB Marketplace / auction/ thrift store finds that have furnished our whole living/ dining area!
Movement is a really good balm for winter. It annoys me too. However, I did a dance workout to Prince with my older daughter (9) and it was actually really fun. We did some air guitar at the end and it was hilarious and sweatier than I expected. My other daughter (6) recorded the tv (for some reason) with her crummy little camera and my husband watched. I would have thought I’d feel weird but it was just the silliness I needed for the end of the longest month known to human beings.
I was JUST telling my husband I wanted a funky coat. We saw a woman waiting to cross the street, wearing one. When we passed her, it was cheetah print. I wondered out loud if she’d sell it to me.
The combination of making sure I get outside for short walks every day and movement 4-5 times a week, either yoga or Lauren Leavell classes, has been really helping my seasonal depression this year.
The East Fork bowls are divine!! I have several colors of the everyday bowl that I eat virtually every meal I have out of. And the icecream bowls…. And a few mugs. GREAT company.
Nuuly has me dressing so wild-- all the things 9-year-old me is like OOH YES to that I'd never spend money on? Rented. And holy shit, your coat is fab. Love it.
Absurd fake fur coats are 100% my aesthetic!
Apparently MINE TOOOO
Thank you for being here. It’s really dark out there. And I’m struggling
Sending hugs Susan. It is dark out there, so grateful for these safe spaces. 💜
I loooooove cheery East Fork pottery!
Just when I think I have enough, they release another gorgeous color…
That pink cheeked smile just brightens up the day!

Wear the fake fur coat anywhere and everywhere. Don't worry about "appropriate"
