I am not sure I will have time to listen to the extra butter episodes and I am definitely not on the right continent for the AMA but you are definitely right that Burnt Toast is and has been extremely valuable to me so I just upgraded my subscription ! Burnt Toast has changed my relationship with food, dinner, has shaped how we interact with food at home (and with a toddler, ha). It has also made me more of an activist and aware of the media limitations round fat bias. Thank you for the work that you do and the content you put out every week !!
Oh my goodness ~ CAROLINE DOONER! I was an early follower of hers and definitely bought her book when she was all about Fuck It Diet. And then I was just explaining the whole nonsense regarding her wild turn to my daughter ~ it sure was something to watch.
Oooooooo fingers and toes crossed the Extra Butter subscription can become something that's paid in monthly installments! I absolutely think $120 for the year is worth it, hands down. The only thing that is preventing me from throwing down the full payment today is huge vet bill I just accrued for my cat. (Adulting sucks.) I'm absolutely intrigued about what happened to the F*ck It Diet author after I unfollowed her pre-pandemic. I found her annoying then...sounds like she went off the rails???

Making some popcorn with extra butter for the comments on Dooner. I watched in horror til she got Jesus and started the Trans hate. Ugh. Could not abide.
I just upgraded my subscription, as I was thinking about it, I realized that your newsletter and Jo Piazza's always make me feel better as a person and parent when so much other content does the opposite. Thanks for making a great spot on the internet!

Thanks for doing levels- I am at the $5 level, and it’s the only one I pay for/in my budget right now. Totally worth it, and I’m glad there’s a “step up” for people who want to pay more for more, too, and also glad there’s still a space for me! :)
