Friday Thread: What Are You Wearing This Fall?
It is September 22, down to 48 degrees here this morning, and I can fight it no longer: Fall is upon us. I’ve written before about my anxiety with shoulder season dressing. (Also here! When do we retire sandals and bare legs, can somebody just PICK A DATE.)
And I’m trying a new thing (that I’ll write more about soon) where I put clothes I want on a Pinterest board instead of impulsively buying them, then assess everything at the end of the month. The upshot is, I have almost nothing new to wear for fall yet, but am pondering lots of options, which I’m going to pop below.
And I’d love to know: What are you excited about, fashion-wise, right now?
Tell us about the clothes (or shoes/bag/whatever!) you’re loving, and how you’re wearing it, if you’ve already got it. Bonus points for brilliant insights about dressing for transitional weather! Or show us what you’re pondering as a fall purchase (links welcome!). Or what you’re hoping to wear but haven’t found yet (someone here might know!). Feel free to also rant about any new trends you just cannot wrap your head around (but let’s remember that it might be not for us, but could be great for someone).
